有的人一個(gè)晚上可以啃完一本大部頭,有的人卻一看到書上的字就止不住的犯困,后者被稱為“輕量級(jí)讀者”,英文表達(dá)是lightweight reader。
Lightweight reader refers to someone who gets sleepy or passes out shortly after starting to read.
“輕量級(jí)讀者”指的是那些一開始看書就犯困或者看沒多久就睡著的人。
Contrary to “heavyweight”, which means very powerful, “l(fā)ightweight” means having little ability, and lightweight reader is a reader who is not good at reading, in fact, far from good at it. You can also call him a poor reader.
和“重量級(jí)”(意思是十分強(qiáng)大)相反,“輕量級(jí)”的意思是能力極低!拜p量級(jí)讀者”則是不擅長閱讀的人,事實(shí)上,離擅長閱讀差得很遠(yuǎn)。你也可以把“輕量級(jí)讀者”叫作poor reader。
